Maybe its because the game is called guild wars. Perhaps thats the reason they care more about pvp than pve.

does this sound like a PVP orientated game?

infact the very first paragraph mentions no PvP at all, so I'd say its a fair bet that the PvE side of the game isnt just there for you to "grind" through before getting to PvP.

perhaps its just me
